AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the Abans Group, achieved the National Quality award for Business Excellence under Service Sector (Large Scale) category at the National Quality Awards 2015 which was held at BMICH Colombo on 14th October 2015.

AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd, the leading Loss Prevention and Secure Transport service provider in Sri Lanka is being honored with the National Quality award for Business Excellence under Service Sector (Large Scale) in Sri Lanka, at the National Quality Awards 2015 which was held at BMICH on 14th October 2015. Hon. Susil Premajayanth,Minister of Science Technology and Research graced the function as the Chief Guest where Mrs. D K R Ekanayake – Secretary, Ministry of Rural Economic Affairs and Mrs. R Wijialudchumi – Secretary, Ministry of Science, Technology and Research participated as special guests.

National Quality Awards is organized by Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), the national Standards Body of Sri Lanka every year in order to recognize the Business excellence of Sri Lankan Organizations. The National Quality Award recognizes quality excellence based on the world renowned Malcolm Baldrige model. It is judged by a panel of industry experts/business leaders against an in-depth scoring criteria covering seven key areas namely Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer Focus, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce Engagement, Operational Focus and Results.

AB Securitas (Pvt) ltd is the first ever Lost Prevention Service Provider in the country to be bestowed with this prestigious award. The Company commenced operations in year 1994 and it is one of the first Sri Lankan Loss Prevention Companies to obtain ISO 9001 certification for quality management and only Loss Prevention Company to posses OHSAS 18001 Certification for health and safety which is a clear indication of its commitment towards a high quality service to their customers and other stake holders. The company is in operation over two decades leading its way in Loss Prevention, Cash in Transit, Total Cash Management, ATM Management and Electronic Security and has Island wide presence with fully fledged Cash Management Centres in Anuradhapura and Matara. AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd, the leading private security and secure transport service provider in Sri Lanka hosted their Service Excellence Awards Ceremony on Saturday 30^th May 2015 in recognition of the dedicated long service of its employees. Opening of Matara CMC 31st October 2014‏

The Opening Ceremony was graced by Deputy Governor of Central Bank Sri Lanka, Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe as the Chief Guest, together with other senior officers of Central Bank Senior members of many leading Government and Private Banks and financial institutes were also among the distinguished guests who participated this ceremonial occasion.

ABS Stall at INCO Exhibition held at BMICH – 27th , 28th and 29th June 2014‏

INCO Premier Industrial Exhibition & Trade Fair 2014 was held during 27th, 28th and 29th June at Sirimavo Bandaranaike International Exhibition centre. AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd took part in this exhibition with its wide range of Electronic Security Products such as CCTV surveillance, Burglar Alarm Systems; Central Monitoring solutions, Quick Response Teams, GPS based vehicle tracking and fleet management system as well as its Tamper proof Security Sealing products.

INCO Industrial Exhibition and Trade Fair is organized by The institution of Incorporated Engineers Sri Lanka, every year with the mission of creating the largest and the most diverse assembly of industrial sectors by innovatively display and actively promote state-of-the art technology and services that would help the development of the country.

The exhibition was visited by a crowd over 100,000 from every corner of the country and a large number of prospective customers visited ABS stall for Electronic Security Related requirements. AB Securitas believes that INCO industrial exhibition and trade fair was a good forum for them to promote their products and services to prospective clients in an interactive manner where the customers could see live demonstrations of security solutions. Further it has provided an excellent opportunity to identify the demands of the different customer segments for such solutions as well as to create awareness among public. This Exhibition provided a gateway to create network among industry players from different sectors which we see as another major advantage.

AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd opened its new Cash Management Centre on the 3rd floor of its Head office premises at No. 141, Kirula Road, Colombo 05. This new cash Management Centre can facilitate the sorting, bundling and warehousing of cash with the modern Security facilities and state of the art technology. The Opening Ceremony was graced by additional Director of Currency Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ms. Shallomi Gunawardene and Deputy Director of Currency Department of Central bank of Sri Lanka Mr. G K K Gamage where Senior members of many leading Government and Private Banks also participated.

ANURADHAPURA BRANCH OPENING

This was done with the aim of providing more efficient and consolidated service to its customers whilst expanding the operations to entire North and East area using the Anuradhapura Branch as a regional Centre. Asst. Governor of Central Bank Mr. Sepala Rathnayaka graced this occasion as the chief guest where many other distinguished customers of ABS also participated to witness this function.
